SMA’s Total Quality Assurance Protocol  for Happier Buyers, Higher Margins, and Fewer Warranty Hassles

A very satisfied homebuyer who is happy to “recommend your company to friends or family” is  no more difficult than delivering what you sold or specified,  on-time, and with zero lingering quality issues, right?  Well… EXACTLY what you sold or specified that is.  And while it’s not easy to accomplish that every time, it’s not impossible, as long as your company keeps quality assurance top-of-mind from product definition all the way through to warranty service and beyond. 

This session outlines SMA’s total quality assurance protocol, from defining what you’re going to build… to putting together a bulletproof job start package, and of course quality assurance from two directions in the field.  More time spent planning means higher margins and less hassle trying to complete the house after your buyer moves in.

  • ·         Understand the SMA systemic approach to quality assurance starting with product definition, sales and selections:  Through construction, delivery, and warranty service.

  • ·         Learn the details of what each department at a homebuilder needs to do in order to participate in a company-wide total QA program.

  • ·         Identify the competitive benefits of a QA program: from more attractive communities and more durable homes,  to happier home buyers willing to recommend the builder without hesitation.

  • ·         Convert warranty liability (overhead) into a profit center by bringing  basic warranty service in-house.
