Keynote: Alternate realities: Today's decisions in construction will cause very different futures for America.

In physics, String Theory suggests that there are an infinite number of universes. All possible things that could happen have happened in one of the universes. If you are like me, this fries your mind. However, I view this as evidence of free will. We can choose the universe we live in.

Residential construction in America is a mixed bag. Americans live in some of the most spacious and most beautiful homes in the world.  However, at the same time, whole generations are being squeezed out of home ownership. Innovation in construction lags the rest of the economy. This speech will explore alternative futures that today's construction decisions can bring into reality.
